Location
Galashiels is one of the principal towns in the Borders region with a resident population in excess of 13,000 persons. The town straddles the A7 which provides direct access North to Edinburgh and South to Newcastle Upon Tyne, entering the North of England. The travelling distance to the capital of Edinburgh is around one hour via the A7 and Galashiels is also 62 miles North of Carlisle. Galashiels is now recognised as the commercial heart of the Scottish Borders with an established town centre and the recent opening of the town’s rail link to Edinburgh and ongoing expansion of the town generally serving to boost the profile and facilities of the town going forward.
The property, more specifically, is located on the south side of Gala Park close to the junction of Livingstone Place.
